American Bank Online today further enhanced the functionality of PC Banker, its popular real-time Internet banking service.
Online customers of American Bank now enjoy powerful search and query capabilities for both loan and deposit accounts, including searching by transaction type, listing transactions in date or amount order, listing transactions by date range or a specified number of days, searching for a specific check, or finding transactions based on amount.
Personal and business customers also have the option to view detailed information about their deposit and loan accounts, including statement, billing, payment and maturity dates, as well as up-to-date figures for current and prior year interest. Customers may also access expanded funds availability information for checking and money market accounts.
In addition, PC Banker now offers the ability to place a stop payment request against any personal or business checking account, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Personal customers continue to enjoy the advantage of free Online Bill Payment, with tremendous flexibility to select from an extensive list of standard payees or create custom payees for their exclusive use. Business customers may elect to request Wire Transfers on a real-time basis, with rapid confirmation in a secure environment.
Mark Jaindl, President and CEO, said that “real-time Internet banking allows our customers to access American Bank and perform their banking functions when and where they want.” “With the introduction of these strong enhancements, our customers continue to enjoy the flexibility of a state-of-the-art online banking service, backed by a premier level of personal and attentive customer service.”
In 1998, American Bank launched the initial release of PC Banker that enabled customers to access their deposit account balances, review account transactions, transfer funds between deposit accounts and manage their access security, all on a real-time basis.
