With Visa® Purchase Alerts, you will receive a real-time email alert whenever a purchase made with your American Bank debit or credit card meets the criteria you specify when you register your card. This free service will provide additional peace of mind as you can notify us as soon as possible when you suspect fraudulent activity.
Setting up notifications is easy. Simply select the notifications that are right for you including:
- Purchases over a specified dollar amount to help monitor your spending
- International purchases
- Purchases made on the internet or over the phone
Whenever a qualified Visa transaction1 meets the parameters you set-up, an alert will be sent to your registered email address.
To enroll, visit visa.com/purchasealerts and follow these three simple steps:
- Click on 'Check Eligibility" and enter the first 9 digits of your American Bank debit or credit card
- Register your email to receive Visa Purchase Alerts2
- Choose the notification triggers that match your needs
